15% dp, switch a piece of sup armor for major
13 is better tho. 8hp = 1 dmg per hit. 13 hp = 1 dmg per hit.

Interesting . With a DP i've been as low as 2 hp farming hydra outside Augury....but anything under 10 absolutely rocks as the size of the mob then no longer matters.....you can take 12 or more on at a time with no prob. Course after they die ur Hp climbs with each concurrent death

The ONLY way to get lower than 55 health as a level 20 without DP is to either use Aura of the Lich or have a deep wound inflicted on you. The ideal health would be 19 because it is the highest possible while still taking 1 damage a hit.

You can have Healing breeze up to +9 (depending on your solo build) and hopefully you have mending on. So the damage from 9 enemies will be healed away. Of course your health ticks are maxed at 10.

I love going 8hp monk. I don't think i've ever been overwhelmed by mobs with that low of hp considering your health regen is greater than your max hp. Theoretically they could kill you if 8 monsters hit you at the same time but it'd have to be in the exact same instance. I'm yet to see it happen.
As for 1hp monk, the lowest amount of damage you could take is 1 and therefore 1 hit would kill you = \

If you are at a slightly higher hp (11 would be theoretically optimal) you have a much higher survivablility.
Theoretically, you will only ever take 10% dmg with Prot Spirit up, so that gives you a maximum of 10 hits before death (assuming no regen). Why would you want to cripple yourself and lower the number of hits you could take to 8? I know that your regen can cover 8 hp so quickly that you can almost never die, and in situations where you are not taking simultaneous hits that is ok. In situations where you are taking simultaneous hits (such as with rangers using preps and dual shot) you have a effectively lost 2 hits of life...I have died MANY times from those stupid birds dual shotting me. grrrr

No, 19 hp is optimal. I don't know how you arrived at 11... There's no rounding up in GW, so at 19 hp you still take 1 damage, allowing you the most hits before you die. Even if there was rounding up or down, then 14 hp would be the ideal, as it would still be rounded down...
Like I said I have no idea how you got 11.
